Sausalito Art Festival this weekend

The 58th annual Sausalito Art Festival, set for Sept. 3-6, includes a sculpture garden, activities for children, gourmet food, beer and wine. Almost 300 artists will display more than 20,000 works, including paintings, sculpture, ceramics, jewelry, fiber art, fine glass, woodwork, mixed media and photography.

One year after opening their cooperative artists’ gallery, the founding members of the Salt Spring Gallery of Fine Art are celebrating a successful venture with a whole stable of newly joined participants.
